Strickland
Service Department Manager
Tom Strickland entered the Sheet Metal Industry in 1974 and has been with United Sheet Metal, Inc. since 1979. After serving a 4 year apprenticeship with United Sheet Metal, Tom worked his way up through the company to a Field Foreman and later into Project Management. Today, working with 12 employees and 6 service trucks, Tom and his team are committed to customer service and satisfaction. They consistently provide quality workmanship that meets or exceeds the industry standards. Tom has recently headed up The Global Communications Project in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands. The team has also been instrumental in the completion of Design Build Renovation projects at Fort Meade, Quantico Marine Base, and the FBI Building. They have also completed several BSL-3 Lab renovations at The National Institute of Standards & Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, Maryland and the replacements of A/C units at several of the METRO stations throughout Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
William Reese
Service Department Manager
William (Billy) Reese entered the Sheet Metal Industry in 1982 and has been employed at United Sheet Metal, Inc. since 1996. After joining United, Billy worked 2 years as a Journeyman before advancing to the position of Foreman. As a Foreman, he successfully completed several large projects including the Johns Hopkins Comprehensive Cancer Center, The University of Maryland Shock Trauma and The International Monetary Fund (IMF). In December 2009, Billy was promoted to the position of Service Department Manager. He is a quality oriented employee and his “lead by example” leadership skills assist him in building a top quality service team that will guarantee customer satisfaction.
