Jimmie G. Roberts
joined United Sheet Metal in 1980. He started at United doing
general cleanup and errands, and soon made his way to yard
maintenance and machinery repair. He continued to work his
way through the ranks, holding positions from Purchasing Agent,
Safety Officer, Vice-President, President, to his current
standing as CEO. Jimmie has been on the Board of the Directors
since 1991, and has owned the company since 1998. Additionally, over the years Jimmie has been appointed to several positions for SMACNA Mid-Atlantic, including President, Treasurer, SMART Fund Chairman and Labor Committee Chairman.
Richard
S. Moy
Vice President/Estimating
Richard
S. Moy joined United Sheet Metal in 1979 after graduating from Southern High School
and two years at Anne Arundel Community College. He started at United sweeping
the shop's floor, and then spent three years working both in the shop and field.
After entering United's estimating program, Rick spent a year at the Maryland
Drafting Institute. Since then he has been working his way through the ranks and
is
now Vice President of Estimating. Rick serves on the Board of Directors with
SMACNA Mid-Atlantic and on the Board of Trustees for the Local
100 Pension, Health and Welfare Plan. Rick is married and has two children.
Joseph Pietkiewicz
Vice President/Contracts
Joseph Pietkiewicz joined United Sheet Metal, Inc. in 1984 after his graduation from Lincoln Technical Institute. Joe was brought on as a Journeyman and since then has worked his way through positions such as Foreman, Service Department Manager, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and Contract Administrator. During this time Joe has gained over 30 years of invaluable experience within the construction industry. As of December 11th 2009, Joe was promoted to the position of Vice President / Contracts for United Sheet Metal, Inc.
